Manda Freytag
Manda is a two-time graduate of the University of Texas. After graduating in 2002 with a degree in Applied Learning and Development, Manda taught second grade in the Austin Independent School District for two years. Although she loved teaching, she decided to take her teaching experience into another arena…health and fitness. She went back to the University of Texas and completed her second degree in Kinesiology Health Promotion and Fitness. Manda has now been in the fitness industry for over 5 years. She is the owner of AXLR8 Fitness and is currently certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. Manda is also an instructor for the Get Fit Program for the faculty and staff of the University of Texas. Manda has a high intensity training style that focuses on each and every one of her clients’ needs and goals. She is experienced in rehabilitation of knee and shoulder injuries as well as training for weight loss and a variety of sports.
Mallory Rodgers
Mallory Rodgers has been in the fitness industry for over 5 years. While at the University of Texas at Austin, she pole vaulted for the Texas Women’s track team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Recently she competed in the Ironman competition in Cozumel, Mexico and placed second in her age group. She will be competing at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in October 2011.Mallory’s style of training is a combination of functional strength, endurance and flexibility. Her philosophy is simple: fitness isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling good, making good choices and quality of life! She believes we should all be more focused on overall health and wellness. She has a passion for what she does and it shows.
